North Texas Giving Day is almost here!

At Cooking for the Crowd, your support goes beyond providing a meal. It helps nonprofits across DFW spend less on food and put more resources back into their programs and communities.

This year, our goal is $15,000, and Early Giving begins Thursday August 27th!

Creativity was on full display at the Pasos for Oak Cliff All Stars Showcase! ⭐️ Students showed off original sneaker designs, short films, and graphic design projects, with a few even taking home back-to-school scholarships! 👟🎬🎨

After preparing meals for the students throughout the summer, it was extra special to celebrate their hard work in person. 💚

Thank you to Samah, Alejandra, Fatima, and the entire Pasos team for inviting us!

We had such a great time visiting Restorative Farms in July! Business & Nonprofit Program Operations Manager Patricia Meausoone welcomed us to the farm and introduced us to their new TAPkit for farm-to-table hydroponic growing.

We loved learning more about their work and even walked away with a new plant! 🪴 We’re grateful for community connections that help us bring more fresh, local produce into our kitchen. 💚

Back in June, we visited the Big Tex Urban Farms grow house at the State Fair of Texas 🌱 Cristian Camacho, Coordinator of Education Initiatives, gave us a tour and shared his incredible knowledge of plants, veggies, and hydroponic growing. We even got to taste some fresh microgreens!

Learning how they work with local schools and nonprofits made our hearts so full. 💚 We’re thankful for partnership opportunities like these that help us bring fresh, locally grown produce into the meals we serve.
