Reminder! The second chance magnet application closes on Monday. Need help? Have questions? Email [email protected].

The second chance magnet application is in Skyward until June 15. It is only available to students who are not signed up for a magnet program for 26-27. If you don't see an application on your Skyward wall and would like to apply for a program, email [email protected].

Earlier this year, students at Garland ISD had the opportunity to hear from Todd Haness, President of CMIT Solutions of Plano & Garland, through a guest speaker experience that helped connect learning to real workforce insight.

Moments like this help students build stronger connections between what they are learning now and the opportunities ahead of them. Hearing directly from professionals gives students clearer visibility into careers, expectations, and the workplace.

We appreciate CMIT Solutions of Plano & Garland for supporting student exposure and helping make workforce preparation more real and more visible.

Specially thank you to Garland ISD Magnet Programs and Garland ISD Family & Community Engagement for supporting these opportunities.

Please join us in congratulating our AAE Academic Pentathlon teams on their incredible performance at Nationals!

Our 8th grade team placed 3rd overall among 8th grade teams, and our 7th grade team placed 2nd overall among 7th grade teams.

These students have worked hard, challenged themselves, and represented AAE and Garland ISD with excellence on the national stage. We are so proud of their dedication, teamwork, and academic achievement!

A special thank you to our coaches for their time, leadership, and commitment to preparing our students, and to our families for supporting them throughout the season. This accomplishment reflects the hard work of our students, the guidance of their coaches, and the encouragement of our AAE community.
