Bent Tree Missions

Here’s what IS working in the fight against human trafficking:

POSTERS.

These posters have been the #1 way these kids have been recovered. So many tips are coming in that additional staff have been hired to work the 24/7 tip line.

COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIPS.

Business owners and managers are stepping up. They’re saying NO to trafficking because of the awareness, diligence, and passion you’re bringing into your communities.

YOUR PRESENCE MATTERS.

One young woman was being trafficked by her own mother. After seeing the posters repeatedly and seeing people show up in her community, the pressure became too much. Her mother eventually took her to the hospital, where this young woman made a cry for help.

THIS is why we show up.

THIS is why we hand out the posters.

THIS is why we stay engaged.

Your presence in the community is making a difference in the fight against trafficking.

Keep showing up. Keep paying attention. Keep fighting for these kids.

Join us for outreach this Saturday. 9am in J101.

Missions Fest is THIS Sunday, September 27, and we need you!

An evening like this takes a village, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make Missions Fest possible. Whether you can help welcome guests, serve behind the scenes, or jump in wherever needed, there’s a place for you.

Come be part of the team and help us create an evening that celebrates what God is doing around the world and right here in our community.

Sign up to volunteer today! We’d love to have you join us!

Want to help our unhoused neighbors but don’t know where to start?

Join us for a new event: Seeing & Serving Our Unhoused Neighbors.

We’ll start with a panel discussion on how to safely and thoughtfully engage with our unhoused neighbors, then put what we’ve learned into action by sorting donations and assembling hygiene kits benefiting MetroRelief.

Bring your family, bring what you can, and come ready to learn and serve.

Bring any of these items:
• New pairs of socks
• Plastic rain ponchos
• Travel-size tissue packs
• Travel-size deodorant
• Travel-size hand sanitizer
• Travel-size toothpaste and/or toothbrushes
• Squeezable applesauce pouches
• Small cans of tuna or other protein
• Granola bars
• Notes of encouragement

November 8 | Chapel | After the second service, around 12:15 p.m. with light snacks provided

Come learn how to see our neighbors, serve them well, and show practical care.

MISSIONS WEEK IS ALMOST HERE!

We’re celebrating the ways God is moving through Bent Tree as we live out our calling to experience and share the love of Jesus, right here in our community and around the world.

From fighting hunger and homelessness to standing against human trafficking, advocating for children, strengthening churches, and empowering women, we believe missions is a way of life.

Throughout Missions Week, we’ll have opportunities to learn, connect with our local and global partners, and discover practical ways we can all join in what God is doing.

Come be part of the story!

September 27–October 4

It’s been such a great summer partnering with Metrocrest Services for Sack Summer Hunger! 🍎🍏🍊

We’ve loved helping deliver fresh, nutritious food to families in our community and seeing what can happen when people come together to serve their neighbors.

A huge thank you to everyone who used their Saturday mornings to pick up and deliver food throughout the summer! Your kindness and generosity made a real difference for so many families.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that cares so well for one another! 💙🥫🚗

Our Louisiana team was blessed to serve alongside Iglesia El Centro Bíblico during their VBS this summer!

Throughout the week, kids ages 4–12 engaged in worship through singing and dancing while learning hands-on lessons about the Fruit of the Spirit. 🍎🍇🍊

We are incredibly grateful for the community at El Centro and their commitment to sharing the love of Jesus in both word and deed. Thank you for allowing us to be part of what God is doing in your community!

Our Alaska team had a wonderful time in Port Graham serving the local village through crafts and sports! Please continue to pray for our supported missionaries the Butters and for the Teele family as they continue to serve in Homer and the local villages.
