The best alarm management policy in the country starts with law enforcement and industry sitting at the same table.

That’s what happened in Green Bay this week at the Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association Conference. Tim Mattos and I joined the WCPA Alarm Management Committee meeting alongside representatives from the Wisconsin Security Association and law enforcement executives from across the state.

I was also proud to present retiring WCPA Executive Director Pete Peters with an award on behalf of SIAC. His commitment to this partnership set the standard.

Enjoy retirement, Pete. You earned it.

A lot of great discussion from different perspectives from Chief Thomas Calouro-Sutton Police Dept., Dominic Dubaldo-Dubaldo Security Systems, Brandon Freedman-Wayne Alarm Systems, Julie Robillard-NMC. Thank you to the panelists and those in attendance for the great open and honest dialogue.
