The African Ophthalmology Council is an organization representing Ophthalmologists in Africa. Its Leadership Development Program was initiated in 2015.
As Africa advances, Healthcare has lagged. The African Ophthalmology Council was formed in 2014 to improve Ophthalmology and eyecare in sub-Saharan Africa. The AOC Leadership Development program was initiated to develop leaders for the AOC, regional and national eye societies. Our premise is that African healthcare will improve through leadership.
