I think it's important to not just create beautiful, expressive and quality pieces, but create them in a way and with materials that support a sustainable life style. As consumers but more importantly as producers of fashion, it's important to know where and how are products come from. Knowing that things such as leather, wool, fur and silk are acquired in ways that are harmful to animals and sometimes the environment has compelled me to be socially responsible and not use animal products or by-products in the things I produce. There are so many other materials that can be used to create beautiful, fashion forward pieces. I would like my shop to place an emphasis on sustainability and using the things we have to make, create and inspire a better tomorrow. After developing an interest in fashion and being tired of just sketching things, I asked for and was given a sewing machine for Christmas by my sister. I taught myself how to sew and I was able to bring the things I had imagined to life. After sewing everything from pillows to blankets, clothing to curtains, I found my real passion was with accessories. I started with small clutches for myself and have now expanded to bigger clutches, tote bags and crossbody bags. I want them to have character. I feel accessories are the perfect way for anyone to express themselves outside of the realm of clothing. I create pieces that do that

New 100% cotton infinity scarves available!
An update! Orders are still shipping! I’ve been providing updates but I just wanted to provide another one. I completely understand why people are disappointed, and I sincerely apologize for how long you all have been waiting. I understand how frustrating it is that some of you have not yet received your order.
All remaining orders are getting completed and shipping. You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as the shipping label is processed.
The shipping estimates were based on the information and production timeline I had at the time. Unfortunately, unexpected fabric delays outside of my control, along with the circumstances surrounding my ongoing recovery, caused the timeline to change much more than I anticipated.
Terrance Williams Designs is a one person small business, so I personally handle everything, from sourcing materials and communicating with customers to sewing, packaging, and shipping every order. I am also still recovering physically and emotionally after surviving gun violence. I was shot twice, in my arm and leg, and nearly lost my life. Even a year and a half later, I continue to manage the injuries and trauma while doing my best to keep my business operating and complete every order with care.
I share this as context, not as an excuse or to dismiss your disappointment. I should have communicated more clearly when it became apparent that the timeline would not be possible, and I’m truly sorry that I left you waiting and uncertain.
I deeply appreciate your patience and your decision to support my small business. Most importantly, I want to reassure you that orders that haven’t been cancelled, refunded or placed with a charge back from the credit card company are still shipping. Thank you so much for your patience and support!
