At our recent Leadership Conference, "Grow Forward 2026: Rooted in Leadership" we had the opportunity to find out. Through inspiring speakers, meaningful conversations, and new approaches to leadership, we walked away with fresh ideas for supporting our teams, growing as leaders and making sure we’re taking care of ourselves along the way.

We’re getting ready to bring Therapy 2000 leaders together, in connection with , for Grow Forward: Rooted in Leadership, an internal conference dedicated to learning, connection and continued growth.

Great leadership emerges when we make time to learn, challenge ourselves, share ideas and strengthen the way we support the people around us. During Grow Forward, our leaders will have the opportunity to come together to build new skills, gain fresh perspectives and continue growing as leaders for their teams.

Our Therapy 2000 and KidsCare teams in Houston recently came together for a social outing filled with good food, great conversations, and plenty of fun.

Moments like these remind us that some of the best connections happen outside of the workday. We’re excited about what’s ahead and grateful for the incredible people who are part of it.

Here’s to connections, shared experiences, and an exciting future together!

Isabelle was born at 40 weeks following a traumatic birth. She was diagnosed with neonatal encephalopathy, strabismus, and poor feeding, requiring a 3-week NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) stay. Through coordination between the NICU and Therapy 2000 teams, Isabelle was connected with the Baby Bridge NICU Transition program prior to coming home.

Within 24 hours of discharge from the NICU, Isabelle received her first home health therapy evaluation. She received Speech, Physical, and Occupational Therapy services from Therapy 2000, allowing her family to begin early intervention without delay.

"Therapy 2000 has been such a blessing for our family,” reflects Isabelle’s mother. “One of the things that meant the most was that they came to meet with us while my daughter was still in the NICU, and it gave us a chance to build a little relationship before we even had a chance to come home.”

From initially coming home g-tube dependent and having difficulty regulating for therapy, Isabelle has made meaningful gains in feeding, visual skills, play, and functional participation. Her therapy team has helped support her continued development beyond the therapy session by assisting the family in obtaining a customized wheelchair, orthotics, and a stander to support her positioning, mobility, and participation in daily activities.

Mom was an instrumental partner throughout Isabelle’s therapy journey. She consistently followed through with therapy recommendations, participated in sessions, and advocated for Isabelle by maintaining close communication and follow-up with her medical providers.

Thanks to early intervention through the Baby Bridge program, consistent therapy support, and Mom’s dedication, Isabelle continues to make meaningful progress since her journey home from the NICU.
