Well folks!
It’s been a rough 5 years. Getting pregnant again was one of the best and worst things I’ve ever experienced.
After 2.5 years of trying to get pregnant, the moment I got pregnant I felt my whole mentally about my body shift.
For some reason in my mind, I knew that no matter what I did at the gym it wouldn’t matter. My body was going to change in ways I didn’t like, so I just threw in the towel and stopped working out all together.
Then my son was born and the postpartum hit like a bag of bricks and lingered for YEARS. Somedays I’d have the motivation and energy to try to get back into fitness, but the pressure and anxiety I put on myself would always send me spiraling that I would quit before I had even really began.
At the start of 2026, I started making some changes. Mostly mental and emotional changes. And now 8 months into the year, I have finally looked myself in the mirror and decided to get back at it once again.
Not for the shows, the trophies, or the sport of bodybuilding, but for this new version of Whitney I have become.
I’m not sure where this road will take me but one thing is for sure, I’m going to redefine my “fitness” to include more than just the physical this time.
The single greatest lesson I’ve learned over the past 5 years is EVERYONE can reinvent themselves and I think it’s time I try.

Lately I’ve been realizing how grateful I am that my kids still want me in the middle of it all. 🤍

They don’t just want me to drive them there or pick them up. They want me in on it. They want me laughing with them, helping with the plan, keeping the secret, being part of the adventure.

And I don’t take that for granted.

There’s something so special about getting to see their excitement up close—the giggles they can’t contain, the adrenaline, the stories they’ll tell over and over afterward.

I know there will come a day when they won’t need me in quite the same way. Their worlds will get bigger, and some of these moments will belong only to them.

But right now, they’re inviting me in.

And every time they do, I think about my own mom and how she gave me that same gift. She showed me that being a mom didn’t always have to mean standing on the sidelines.

So for as long as they’ll have me, I’ll happily be the driver, the accomplice, the keeper of the secrets and the mom trying not to laugh too loud. 😂

Because getting to be part of their childhood while they’re living it?

That’s a privilege I hope I never forget to be grateful for. 🤍

🇺🇸And just like 250 years ago, team USA overcame incredible odds, fought till the end and brought home a win no one expected! 🇺🇸

🍃Saying goodbye to our second home today!

6020 W Parker Road has been a great place to learn and grow, especially as business owners. When I came on board with Chase Pease and Curis Functional Health it was only a dream that we would fill that 2,100 sq feet with providers and staff.

The days were long, but memories were made between the two of us. Over time, we added more chiropractors, more administration, more mental health, and even a dietitian.

What once felt like a daunting space became a space overflowing with care and teamwork, to the point of trying not to step on each other.

Today marks a great milestone for us and for our company. I am so proud of the team we have built and the care we give our patients.

We will continue to provide that and even more as we grow into our new space.

Thank you to all those who have helped us get here. Whether it was business advice, a listening ear when things got rough, or just encouragement to keep going, nothing has been wasted on us, and I’m so grateful for all of it.
