This month, we were honored to receive a generous grant from Dallas Children's Charities!š« We are incredibly grateful for the meaningful relationships we continue to build throughout the DFW community, and especially thankful for the support of this outstanding organization.š
Community is one of our core values at DFW Angels. We know that lasting impact is only possible through strong partnerships with organizations, corporations, and individuals who share our heart for children, youth, and families experiencing foster care. Thank you, Dallas Children's Charities, for believing in our mission and helping us continue this important work.
Together, we're creating brighter futures and ensuring more children and families in the foster care community feel seen, supported, and loved. ā¤ļø

It started with parents who chose to involve their kids early, teaching them that showing up for others is just part of who we are.
Now, these three are doing chores, saving their money, and choosing month after month to give to the Angel Alliance.
And in the process, they are learning something bigger than generosity.
That their actions matter.
That consistency builds trust.
That even at a young age, they can help change someone elseās story.
Because when you learn to show up early, it becomes part of who you are.
If kids can do this, imagine what is possible for all of us.
Caring for children and families experiencing foster care is not someone elseās responsibility. It belongs to all of us.

Foster Care Month is coming to an end. The mission is not.
This isnāt one-sided.
Showing up changes lives and it changes you too.
It builds purpose, perspective, and connection in ways you do not expect.

Instability is one of the greatest hurdles in foster care. Did you know that over 50% of foster homes close within the first year? This often means constant moves. New schools, new rules, and new faces. When a child moves homes, they lose more than a roof; they lose their sense of security.
In a world of constant change, the most powerful thing you can offer is consistency. You do not need to be a hero. You do not need to have all the answers.
You just need to be the person who stays. Month after month. Conversation after conversation.
