Smothered Turkey Wings- seasoned with ,(wash wings thoroughly then season.)
Place in baking pan lined in foil, place slice onions in bottom of pan, place seasoned wings on top, add bell pepper, minced garlic and 1/2 jalapeño on top, bake at 350° for 21\2 hours, once done, add prepared gravy( chicken stock, Wesson oil, flour and your choice of seasoning.) Allow oil to cook, don't burn, medium heat, add flour(1tbls), stir til mixed and browned, add hot water, stirring, make sure not to allow to stick, stir, add cream of chicken, mix well til you get the consistency you prefer, pour over wings, cook and additional 45 minutes.
Smothered Cabbage- 2-4 strips of bacon cut into pieces, 2c. water, 1 cabbage cored & cut into quarters or eights, season to taste.
Use durch oven on medium heat, add bacon pieces, fry til browned, , add cabbage & water steamed for about 1 minute, cover for 15 minutes. Remove lid , simmer on high heat, til liquid is gone and cabbage browned not burnt.
Jasmine rice- cook according to package, top with green onion.
