Apparently it's a thing to throw beads into the trees on the ride up the ski lift. Other things as well, including a few ski boots!

Up at the top of the lift, you're over 11000 feet. It's quite a view, down and up! 🙂

From the base of Peak 8, you can take a chairlift up toward the peak. It doesn't go all the way up! Some people take their mountain bikes up on the lift and ride them down!

At the top of the gondola, in the Peak 8 Base Area, you find Ullr, the Norse god of snow. He was taking the day off when we were there! I think it got close to 90 that day...🥵

In August, we got tired of the 100-degree weather and decided to go to Breckenridge, Colorado just to cool off! They have a mountain there... 😁

And if you are still in Pahrump with nothing to do, you can go feed the Rescue Donkeys of Pahrump! Stop at the Death Valley Marketplace and they will sell you the food...along with a nice selection of souvenirs, soft drinks, and a small selection of tasty ice cream! 🫏🍨
