This Nantucket basket was one of the sale’s top performers. The basket features a hinged lid with a turned k**b and a swing handle. There is a small silver plaque with no engraving attached to the handle. The maker of 7¼" high x 10" diameter basket is unknown. This basket sold for $8890 (est. $125/250) at The Potomack Company Auctions

This 1938 Mills Club Extraordinary Special Page Boy 10¢ Slot Machine is a fantastic example of vintage gaming history, with the look and mechanical character that makes these machines so collectible.

👀 What is it… and what's it worth?
A reader pulled this out of a box and froze. A wall decoration? 🖼️ Some kind of weapon? ⚔️ Good guesses — both wrong.
Look closer 🔍 a flat metal panel, a column of everyday household words, and a row of tiny sliding pegs down each side. Every peg had a job. And in the 1950s, this little gadget lived in nearly every kitchen. 🏠

Tiffany Studios hydrangea Snowball leaded-glass floor lamp from the collection of Seymour and Evelyn Holtzman. The 24" diameter shade depicts the hydrangea or Snowball motif, with mottled and freckled glass in shades of opalescent whites and streaked minty greens, and is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 1538-16.” The Tiffany Studios six-socket 79" tall base is finished in a reddish-brown patina with subtle verdigris accents and is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 376.” The lamp includes the original Tiffany Studios acid-etched pigtail heat cap. The lamp sold for $442,800 (est. $300,000/600,000) at Morphy Auctions in Denver, Pennsylvania, on June 10 and 11.
