The Jab of Life 🥊
This is a clip from my very first public speaking engagement.
One of the biggest lessons boxing has taught me is this:
Without a solid jab, there is no order.
Without order, there is chaos.
The same is true in life.
When life gets overwhelming, when business gets stressful, or when everything feels like it’s falling apart, go back to your jab.
Go back to the fundamentals.
Go back to the habits that made you successful.
Go back to what you know works.
That’s what my message is all about.
No matter what happens, always get back to your jab.
If you’re looking for a speaker on leadership, resilience, and purpose, I’d love to speak to your team or organization.
And if this message resonated with you, grab a copy of my book, Defeat to Destiny. It’s filled with leadership lessons, resilience, and practical principles just like this to help you keep moving forward.

Moments like this mean more than people realize.
I walked into the gym today and saw one of my coaches and one of my longtime members, who’s been with me for over 10 years, wearing an old Tony Mack fight shirt from back in the day.
That reminded me that this journey has never just been about boxing. It’s been about relationships, loyalty, and building a community that believes in one another.
I don’t take this kind of love and support for granted. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey. We’ve come a long way, and we’re just getting started.
Grateful. Blessed. Let’s keep building.
1% better every day.
1% Better Every Day.
That’s all we can do. Get 1% better every single day.
Every one of these fighters has something big coming up. UFC. MMA. Team Boxing League. They trust me to help prepare them, and that means I have to keep growing too.
I have to study more. Learn more. Coach better. Lead better.
As a coach, business owner, author, and public speaker, I can’t stay the same. Growth is a daily decision.
The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is progress.
One workout.
One lesson.
One round.
One day at a time.
Let’s keep stacking those 1% wins.

Monday Motivation
Today I’m simply thankful.
I’m humbled that Micah Parsons, Amari Cooper, and Brandin Cooks chose to endorse my book, Defeat to Destiny. Their support means the world to me, but more than anything, it reminds me of God’s faithfulness.
None of this happens without God.
Every opportunity, every relationship, and every open door has been the result of His perfect timing. He aligned the right people with my purpose long before I understood what He was doing.
If you’re chasing a dream today, don’t give up because you can’t see the finish line. Keep believing in the unseen. Keep doing the work. Keep trusting God’s process, even when it doesn’t make sense.
We are not here by accident. We were created on purpose and for a purpose.
If you honor God, God will honor you in ways you never imagined.
I’m grateful. I’m blessed. And I’m just getting started.
If you’ve read Defeat to Destiny, thank you for your support. I would truly appreciate an Amazon review. If you haven’t picked up a copy yet, I hope it encourages you to keep fighting for your purpose.
Have a blessed Monday.

I don’t usually train on Sundays.
But when Micah Parsons calls, I show up.
Three years and counting. From the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers, I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep serving through boxing and work with the next generation of talent.
Back to work. 🥊
