As part of this journey we'll even go back to the founding of our country and explore if we’ve always been this divided about truth and facts.

As a kid, driving down from Northern Michigan at the end of summer there was often at least one tree already changing colors in late August. Today, I look forward to December days in Texas, like this one, where our ginkgo tree drops all its leaves in just a day, or two.

Hi, friends. I have some personal news to share.
Climate change is one of the most important stories of our time and covering it is my passion. Today, I’m taking a new step on that journey by joining CBS News and Stations as a National Environmental Correspondent.
So after 16-years, it's time to say goodbye to WFAA, a legendary and vibrant TV station where I have absolutely loved working.
Now, along with my long-time producing partner and friend, Chance Horner, we’ll build a new reporting brand that helps people understand how intimately connected we are to the world around us, the problems we face and solutions we’ll need if we are to leave behind a world that our children can still comfortably live in.

Banks make relatively few loans in Black and Brown neighborhoods. But Wells Fargo and others are financing the predatory lenders that fill the void in these same communities and can charge 400% in interest/fees.
