Every week hundreds of gorgeous dogs are put to death by local shelters. Most people would be amazed at the purebred dogs if they walked into their neighborhood shelter. Rescue organizations like ours work hard to save as many as we possibly can but is a never-ending process with breeders and Puppy Mills selling unhealthy animals to the public. All of our dogs are neutered/spayed, vet checked, all shots, dewormed, groomed, and checked for heartworms. They are all are current on Heartworm preventative medicine and flea and tick meds. Every dog is microchipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee is $350 for adult dogs and puppies over 7 months and older. This is to cover our costs for vet care, food, medication, surgery if needed, spay/neuter, microchip and other expenses. Doodles and poodles have an additional $50 charge to cover grooming. Some of the dogs we rescue have heart worms (more common for ones we save from the shelter), which is very expensive to treat and some need surgery. We have to set a standard fee....the goal is to stay ahead of the rescue bills; but is always a battle of expenses for the little ones, so please understand why there is a fee. For senior dogs, 9 years or older, the adoption fee is $150. Thank you so much for your support and consideration of our dog rescue! Please email me at [email protected] for an application. Ozzie was found wandering on a road and no one came looking for him. He is such a cute boy. He is very needy and loves to be sitting with his person or close to them. He is happy and seems well adjusted. He gets along with all sizes of dogs and would be good with children as well with his even keeled personality. He weighs 13 lbs and is about 6 yrs old. Opal is an escaped Cody's dog and needs a safe place to have her puppies! If you can help, please reference the OP. The public Cody's page is in FB jail right now so they haven't been able to plea for a maternity foster. Please share the original post to help Opal and her puppies find a foster!

He was originally rescued off the street in terrible shapeāskinny and covered in fleasābut thanks to proper care, he has made a full recovery and is completely healthy!

Health: Neutered, fully vaccinated, & heartworm negative!
Temperament: EXCELLENT with other dogs and kids! Very friendly and sweet. But is terrified of tall men. Maybe something happened while he lived in the streets. Can be very timid at first but once heās comfortable he is the sweetest boy ever.
Why the urgency?
His current housing situation does not allow pets, and keeping him hidden is not a fair or long-term solution. He deserves a permanent family or a foster home where he can run, play, and live openly.

Meet Sweet Luna Belle! She was a last second save as she was gong to be euthanized for space and we got her in the nick of time! She was at a crowded shelter about to be killed and we got a foster at her last seconds! She is a sweetheart. She Weighs 50 lbs and about 5 years old. She is sweet and good with other dogs. She is a happy girl except that she is in boarding since being saved from Cody's. Her foster was approved to take her and disappeared. This makes her sad. She is calm and loving and so deserving

Meet Banjo! š He is 11 months older led and weighs 50 pounds.
This big sweetie is a total goofball who loves everyone! He gets along great with other dogs, loves toys, car rides and, of course, cuddling on the couch. š„°
Banjo can be a little nervous at first, but he warms up quickly. His weekend temp foster said he was wonderful with her dogs and had a blast! Heās about 80% housebroken and is still gaining confidence in his kennel, but he really just wants to be out with his people.
The shelter staff absolutely LOVED Banjo! When they found out he had a foster and was leaving the shelter, they all gathered around to say goodbye to their favorite guy. ā¤ļø

Sweet Phoebe is new to the Cody's family. She was a strat for a very long time and lived on the streets. She has settled in easily at her foster home and will be patiently waiting to meet her forever family. You can complete an application and then she would LOVE to meet you and your family. She is about a year old and weighs just over 45 lbs so just a little dumplin!! She is super, super sweet, loves other dog and is very happy. Affection? Bring it on...she will give it back.
