Sometimes the problem you’re trying to solve isn’t actually the real problem.
A recent conversation about home care started with a simple request: help strip and remake the bed every morning.
But once we looked at why the bed needed to be changed every day, very different solutions came into the picture.
This is one of my favorite things about age tech. It doesn’t always mean complicated technology. Sometimes it is simply discovering a product that makes everyday life easier.
I shared the story, along with two solutions families may not know exist, in our latest Age Tech Now blog.

You do not have to call yourself a caregiver to need caregiving support.
Maybe you are simply checking on your mom more often.
Maybe your dad has started calling you with questions he used to handle himself.
Maybe your parents have become part of your workday, your evenings, and your mental to do list.
The free Caregiver Story Workbook was created to help you step back, gather your thoughts, and put the full picture in one place.

Sometimes the hardest part of caregiving is not knowing where to begin.
You may know something is changing. You may be helping with appointments, meals, medications, transportation, or decisions.
But when someone asks, “What kind of help do you need?” it can be difficult to explain.
The free Caregiver Story Workbook helps you get the information out of your head and onto paper.
It gives you a place to think through:
• What has been changing
• What you are currently managing
• What is causing the most stress
• What kind of support may be helpful next
You do not need to have all the answers. You just need a place to start.

It may start with little changes, more questions, more phone calls, or a feeling that something is different.
The Caregiver Story Workbook gives you a simple place to start gathering the details and noticing patterns.

Caregiving can feel like having 100 thoughts running through your head at once.
"What if I'm missing something?"
"Should I be worried?"
"What should I do first?"
Sometimes the best thing you can do is get those thoughts out of your head and onto paper.
That's exactly why I created my free Caregiving Story Workbook.
