The Lord is only coming like a thief in the night to those who are not prepared, not ready, not watching, and not waiting for Him with great expectation.
When you are waiting for something with great expectation, you prepare for it. You’re ready. You’re watching. You’re anticipating the arrival because you are expecting them to show up.
But when you’re not prepared, anything can creep up on you. Anything unexpected can catch you off guard—just like a thief in the night.
That’s why this is a season of preparedness. Readiness. Watchfulness. Expectation.
We don’t know the day or the hour, but we are called to WATCH.
We are pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. We are looking for His appearing. We are living with expectation.
The question isn't, “Do you know when He's coming?”
The question is:
ARE YOU WATCHING?
ARE YOU EXPECTING HIM?
ARE YOU READY?
Because when you're truly expecting someone to arrive, you live like they could show up at any moment.
