Let me make something VERY CLEAR:

Anytime I speak about Black women AS A WHOLE, it’s positive.

What I speak about is a SPECIFIC subset of Black women who come into my comments every fu***ng day being homophobic and transphobic, provoking gay men and trans women, then performing victimhood the second we respond.

I don’t fu***ng know you. You don’t know me. And your small worldview has convinced you that any criticism of A Black woman is somehow an attack on ALL Black women. It isn’t.

Notice the thousands of Black women who follow me and don’t feel attacked? Because they’re secure enough to understand NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT THEM.

Black women absolutely experience disrespect in this world. Gay Black men and Black trans women experience it too, except some of ours comes from the very community we’re told should understand us. Every fu***ng day there’s a think piece, a panel, a post about people who are literally just trying to exist safely while being gay, feminine or trans.

THAT is exhausting.

So if you’re exhausted by me responding, imagine being the person getting attacked every fu***ng day.

My femininity made these same men and women get in my comments calling me slurs, saying I’m cosplaying women and worse, one of em said I should be unalived!

And THAT is the conversation.

Femininity doesn’t belong to women. Yet in the Black community men and women alike just get deeply uncomfortable when a Black man wears it beautifully and doesn’t apologize for it.

And that’s exactly why y’all hate the dolls too.

How dare we be this pretty and still not need permission to exist freely!

You’re still an English cigarette to them, beloved. You just learned how to perform yours in a way that keeps THEM comfortable.
