Our elders didn’t have mental health issues cuz they came up with fun sayings to bypass them. 😂

Nobody was depressed. They just “had a spell.” Nobody had anxiety. They had “bad nerves.” Nobody was in crisis. They “just needed to get out the house and get some air.”

Grandma had a full breakdown in 1996 but the family just calls it “when she went to Georgia for a while.” 😂 God bless em for doing their best.

Had way too much fun making this one at Vibrant Vegan Fest 😂 Nothing like getting a bunch of vegans together in one place and realizing we all have the same stories, the same jokes, and apparently the same emotional support reusable fork.

Such a good weekend of laughing, connecting, eating ridiculously well, and being around people who just get it. Community like this is special.

The day after this Vegan & Vegetarian Dating App was invented. 😂

This year has been teaching me the power of being magnetic.

I’ve spent so much of my life chasing. Chasing opportunities. Chasing people. Chasing love. Chasing success. Chasing the next version of myself.

Now, I’m learning to be the flame.

A flame doesn’t chase anything. It burns brightly, fully, unapologetically, and the right people are naturally drawn to its warmth.

That’s the energy I’m carrying into this season of my life.

I’m becoming more rooted in who I am, more present with where I am, and more grateful for what keeps finding its way to me. New friendships. New experiences. New connections. New reasons to laugh until my face hurts.

And I genuinely love what I’m attracting into my life.

Got to spend some time with new friends at one of my new favorite spots, Jajaja Mexicana in Wynwood, eating incredible vegan food, laughing, connecting, and simply enjoying the life happening right in front of me.

No chasing.

Just shining. Aligning. Attracting. Receiving. Enjoying.
