BREAKING: After 3 hours of deliberations, jurors found Karmelo Anthony guilty in the murder of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a Frisco track meet.
Anthony now faces anywhere from 5 to 99 years in prison.

UPDATE: The defense has rested its case in the Karmelo Anthony trial. Closing arguments are expected to take place tomorrow.
Inmates at Bridgeport Correctional Center were evacuated after a high level of carbon monoxide was detected.
Bridgeport Police say firefighters confirmed the leak originated from the facility’s boiler room.

Live 4 Love Charities is hosting a dance workshop this weekend in North Texas at James Bowie High School for kids ages 8-17.

OAK CLIFF APARTMENT EXPLOSION: The attorney for the owner of Clyde Apartments says the complex was up for sale— and that soil testing was being conducted by a prospective buyer.
The big question now… did the drilling company call 811 *before* conducting their soil test?
It’s also unclear whether the drilling company notified Atmos Energy about its plans to dig — or whether Atmos improperly marked the line, the drilling crew dug too deep, or some combination of factors led to the rupture.
3 people are confirmed dead— two adults and one child.
19 units were occupied in the apartment building. 10 families are now staying in a hotel.
The NTSB is leading the investigation into the explosion.
