The Sound Conference

The Sound of Freedom. 🔊⛓️‍💥

The loudest freedom is the one that happens in your soul. 🕊️

2 Cor. 3:17

The sound of heaven breaking in.
A Savior is born.
Glory to God ✨

🔊 The sound of gratitude feels like worship today.
Every laugh, every plate of food, every moment with community—all of it a gift from the One who writes beauty into our lives. Thankful for Jesus, our faith, and the story He’s still telling. 🤎✨

What a beautiful time we experienced in the presence of the Holy Spirit at The Sound Conference 2025!

Held October 3–5 at Tyler Street Church, the weekend brought together more than 200 attendees from as far south as Harlingen, TX to as far east as St. Augustine, Florida. We also hosted over 25 clergy from across the MidTex and Trinity Conferences. It was a sacred time of worship, learning, and divine encounter.

Throughout the weekend, five powerful sessions were led by ministers from across Texas: Rev. Leigh Gettman-Allen (Tyler Street Church), Rev. Rudy Topete (Southgate Fellowship), Rev. Lauren Yates (Austin GMC), Rev. Mark Swayze (The Woodlands Methodist), and Rev. Dr. Rusty Freeman (Revive Movement/Truett Seminary).

In addition, four workshops equipped participants in practical ministry and spiritual leadership:
1. Call to Ministry — Rev. Dr. Rusty Freeman, Rev. Brian Smith, Rev. Doug Fox, Logan De Groot, Matt Rodgers, and Jonah Robson
2. Prayer — Rev. Lauren Yates, Rev. Dr. John Kay, Christy Gandy, and Jana Fox
3. Worship — Rev. Mark Swayze, Jordan Guidroz, Arnold Arreaga, Rev. Will Agnor, Joston Collins, and Stephen Azan
4. Ministry in the Workplace — Hon. Mark Murrell, Allison Myers, Billy Allen, and Kate Wolford.

Saturday evening’s Communion service was especially moving—hundreds responded to the call of the Spirit, moving to the altar for salvation, healing, deliverance, and calls to ministry. The weekend concluded with a dessert disco and fellowship, celebrating all that God had done.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our conference partners and vendors:
Baylor University’s Truett Seminary Wesley House, Asbury Theological Seminary, Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Revive Youth Movement, OneChild, and Ruben Florido. We also send a special thanks to the Mid-Texas Annual Conference for the opportunity to host and their generous support of our endeavors.

But we especially want to thank our church family for all of your donations, volunteering, and intercessory prayers. We could not have done any of this without you.

As we look ahead, we are filled with anticipation for The Sound Conference 2026—believing for even greater things the Lord will do! 🙌
