My friend lost her sweet boy a couple of months ago, and she asked me if I would create a fabric portrait of him for her.

I wanted it to feel like him, but still have that quirky, imperfect, colorful personality that these little fabric creatures have. So I worked from his photo, chose fabrics that felt right, and slowly pieced him back together in cloth and thread.
