This might be the best birthday party in Davis 😮‍💨 The Davis Farmers Market is turning 50 this year and yeah… they’re celebrating all year. The second you walk in, you can feel it. Music playing, people everywhere, kids running around, long lines for food that are somehow still worth it. If you’ve been thinking about finding something to do midweek, Picnic in the Park is the move. Wednesday nights just hit different here. A few tips if you go: - Get there a little early if you want a good spot on the grass. It fills up fast. - Bring a blanket or chairs unless you’re cool sitting on the ground. - Walk the whole market first before committing to food. You don’t want to miss anything! - Bring cash just in case, not every vendor is quick with cards. - Go with friends! It’s a great way to relax and catch up with pals. Also, don’t skip the Wednesday specific vendors. There are some really good food options that you won’t see on Saturdays, and trying a few different things is kind of the whole point. Honestly, it’s one of those things that sounds simple but ends up being one of your favorite nights of the week. Text the group chat, grab some food, sit in the park, and just hang out. Every Wednesday at 4pm-8pm from now until August! Very Davis, in the best way 💛
