🏆🎺 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗖𝗜 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀!
The DCI Eastern Classic in Allentown featured all 20 World Class corps over two nights of competition on July 31 and August 1, with the lineup split between Friday and Saturday.
While the corps did not compete head-to-head in a single event, both nights were judged by the same panel, providing a unique opportunity to compare scores across the entire field. This graphic combines the results from both evenings to offer a snapshot of where the standings currently sit heading into championship week.
The comparison becomes even more interesting when viewed alongside the DCI Southwestern Championship in San Antonio on July 18, the last time all 20 World Class corps competed at the same event. Since then, several notable shifts have taken place:
🥉 Carolina Crown has moved into bronze position
📈 Spirit of Atlanta has surged three spots in the rankings
🔥 Pacific Crest has climbed into the 12th and final Finals position
⚔️ The battle for medals, Finals spots, and placement throughout the rankings remains incredibly competitive
With just days remaining before the DCI World Championships, every point matters. All 20 World Class corps will meet again in Indianapolis for World Championship Prelims on Thursday, August 6, setting the stage for what could be one of the most exciting championship weeks in recent memory.

Their 2026 production, Golden Summer, has been winning over fans all season, and now it feels like something special is happening for Spirit of Atlanta.
The members and staff continue to put in the work, and those efforts are paying off as the show locks in and the scores continue to climb.
Created in celebration of the organization’s 50th anniversary, Golden Summer brings a wave of nostalgia to the field. The corps’ retro-inspired uniforms have become a fan favorite, while the color guard’s portrayal of summer adventures—complete with surfboards—adds a fun and memorable touch.
With momentum building at just the right time, could Spirit ride that wave all the way into a Saturday night finals appearance at next week’s DCI World Championships?

Captured during their lot warmup before NightBEAT on July 26, the Blue Stars drumline brings focus and precision as the corps from La Crosse, Wisconsin continues its impressive 2026 campaign.
Fans have embraced this year’s art-inspired production, Collection ‘26: The Galleries, featuring music such as Color and Light, Vincent, and Pictures at an Exhibition.
After back-to-back 8th-place finishes at DCI World Championships, the Blue Stars are currently positioned to challenge for an even higher placement this season. A move up one spot to 7th would mark the corps’ best finish since 2022, while a jump of two spots to 6th would be its highest placement since 1977.
