Global Growers Network partners with people from diverse cultures who grow fresh food for their families and for local marketplaces.
Together, we build and sustain networks of land, resources, markets, and people in order to create a more equitable food Global Growers Network is a nonprofit that increases the number of food producers who create access to healthy nutritious food that is sustainably grown and also prepares commercial farmers to be competitive in their local marketplace. Global Growers grew out of the tremendous demand among international farmers, many of whom came to Atlanta as refugees of war. These farmers sought to reconnect to their agricultural heritage in their new home. Recognizing this exceptional talent, Global Growers connects local families to land, education, and markets in order to build healthier communities and to strengthen our local economy. Global Growers is committed to cultivating growing spaces and other resources for farmers who are traditionally underserved by mainstream agricultural service providers and community food organizations. We prioritize serving individuals who have come to Georgia as refugees/immigrants and who were experienced food producers in their countries of origin. Consequently, we have a primary focus on racial and ethnic groups who are underserved and underrepresented in our communities. We also serve all commercial farmers in Metro-Atlanta and the state of Georgia who have proven production experience and have limited resources for, or face significant barriers to, food production or launching farm businesses.

Support our Harvest for Hunger Relief initiative on Tuesdays, helping wash, pack, and prep fresh produce for families across our community. Then join us the week of September 25–26 for our Pop-Up Market at Indian Creek Market Farm, with shifts for harvest prep, market setup, and day-of support.

September is Hunger Action Month 🧡 In Georgia, 1 in 6 people, including 1 in 5 children, are facing food insecurity. For many families, that's closely tied to limited access to fresh, culturally familiar food.
Our Hunger Relief Initiative aims to bridge this gap by providing fresh produce at low or no cost to community members. Our pay-what-you-can fresh produce market helps put fresh food on the table for local families, while creating real income for the growers in our Network 🚜.
Join us for this month’s pop-up market, the last Saturday of the month from 10AM–2PM at Indian Creek Market Farm. Browse a wide variety of fresh, culturally diverse produce grown by local gardeners and farmers, meet them, learn what they're cultivating, and take home something delicious.

Come dig in with us at our next Work & Learn Day! 🥕
We're back at Rockdale Organic Co-Farm in Conyers on Saturday, September 12th from 10am to 1pm, and we'd love for you to join. Spend the morning in the field with our staff and growers, explore the farm, and get a real feel for what Global Growers Network does.
New to GGN or been around a while, either way, this is a great way to connect with the community. Lunch included!
Schedule for the day:
10:00 – 10:30am: Welcome, overview of the day, farm tour
10:30am – 12:30pm: Work with a co-farmer/Land Stewardship staff
12:30 – 1:00pm: Lunch

Help Bring Grower Network Day to Life! 🌼
Grower Network Day brings together growers, families, community partners, and supporters for a day of connection, food, activities, and celebration, and we need volunteers to help make it happen!
Volunteers will help create a welcoming experience for guests through setup, hospitality, produce distribution, information tables, children’s activities, food distribution, and event breakdown.
Choose from two event-day shifts:
🗓️ Morning | 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
Help prepare the space, welcome guests, and get the day off to a great start.
🗓️ Afternoon | 11:30 AM–3:30 PM
Support activities, food and produce distribution, information tables, hospitality, and event breakdown.

Farm Friday 🌱
Thank you to State Representatives Taylor and Lewis-Ward as well as Leslie Lambert, Chair of Rockdale's Soil + Water Conservation District, for your visit to Rockdale Organic Co-Farm!
Shout out to Reggie of Grow with the Flow for sharing about your journey as a farmer and with GGN with our guests, and to our Community Organizer, Jaina, for a tour of GGN's unique farm model + shared infrastructure.
If you are in the Conyers area, be sure to visit the Farmers Market on Sundays from 1pm-4pm. Another Rockdale-based farmer, Jasmine of Locs and Heritage Farm, has been working with Leslie to bring fresh produce to the community. Buy local!

This pay-what-you-can series brings fresh, culturally diverse produce grown by local farmers directly to the community.
Come out to chat with the growers, find out what's fresh this month, and wander the garden to soak up some abundance.
