Curtis is available to an experienced home with no children under 12; he cannot hear, he is discounted and he must attend classes. 🚲 Bike Hike! 🚲 🔥HEAT. Using some common sense in the 88 to 94 degree heat. .. .. 🌷Toonya Petunia (age 9-1/2 yrs) and 💦 Raina ( 14 mos.) are showing heat sensitivity when I bicycle the dogs. Toonya will pull back even at a 5 mph trot, and both she and Raina were panting harder than Enzo, Camden, Kate, and Kimber but keeping up.
BIGGEST CLUE: it was taking Toonya and Raina longer to *recover * once we returned to the house and air conditioning and fans.
Re**al temp was 102.4 at 5 minutes after we returned. In Enzo, temp was 101.7 F. This was a 2. 3 mile jog.
I have reduced the two girls to 1. 2 mile. The photo of Toonya was our stopping point at 1/2 mile and we turned around. Cloudy, 84 degrees.
I have Enzo who is 2 mos. older than Toonya and he is doing just fine; so it is an individual response to the 🔥heat & 💧 humidity. Toonya and Raina seem to be doing a 1 mile round trip just fine.
🚩🚩 PLEASE remember when exercising, a dog will CONTINUE to 🔥HEAT UP even AFTER STOPPING the EXERCISE. Advise: 🛑 STOP when the FIRST Signs of Heat Exhaustion appear
