Friday night, I had the privilege of attending the Defender Fundraising Group gathering in Decatur in support of our National Guard. It was a great evening with folks who understand the duty we owe those who stand ready to defend Texas and this country.
I’m grateful for the organizers and every patriot who came out. Their commitment to those who serve strengthens our community and honors the men and the women who protect us.
