Talent gets you in the room. What helps you stay there? 🤔
As the Executive Director of Atlanta Film & TV, I’m excited to bring our Talent Showcase to the creative community. 🎭🎬
After years of covering and supporting Atlanta’s growing film and television industry, I know how important it is for emerging talent to have opportunities to be seen, heard, and connected.
That’s exactly why I created this showcase.
This is more than simply getting on stage. It’s an opportunity for performers to share their talent, build confidence, receive professional feedback, and connect with members of the entertainment community.
Because every great career begins with an opportunity.
And I’m intentional about creating opportunities that can help talent take that next step.
If you missed our recent conversations, be sure to check them out:
🎙️ Khiry Walker — Khiry and actor and one of the talents I met while scouting a showcase about a year ago. In our IG Live conversation, he shared valuable insight on how performers can prepare for a talent showcase. Be sure to check out our August 4th IG live conversation.
🎬 Brandon McCray — Brandon McCray Birmingham-based Casting Director, whom I first met nearly 10 years ago when he served as a panelist for a pre-Atlanta Film & TV conversation. In our latest conversation, Brandon shared even more valuable insight for performers preparing for a showcase.
And, be sure to stay tuned for an upcoming conversation with actress and coach, Erin Elizabeth Burns (Erin Elizabeth Burns ) whom I had the pleasure of sitting amongst as a talent scout.
I’m grateful to have professionals like Khiry, Brandon and Erin Elizabeth Burns, who are willing to pour into our creative community.
