CoreStones Massage CoreStones are the ultimate massage therapy tools. Hand made in the USA from non-absorbent American soapstone, nature’s best thermal conductor, CoreStones maintain heat and cold longer than any other stone.

You don’t need to rebrand your practice to add CoreStone work. Start with one simple technique in a session you already offer:
1. Warm glide: Begin with broad, warm gliding strokes, then flow naturally into deeper tissue work.
2. Cold finish: Use a cooled CoreStone at the end of a focused area for a calming post-acute finish.
3. Reflexology: Add targeted foot work right on the table as a focused finishing technique.
The goal is simple: add therapeutic options while working smarter: not harder. And remember, this is NOT your hot stone massage. CoreStone work gives you a precise, ergonomic way to complement your existing approach.
Which technique would you try first?

Before reaching for a warm or chilled CoreStone, screen first. Treat safely!
Heat may be inappropriate for clients with circulatory or vascular conditions, acute inflammation, fever, infection, reduced sensation, or difficulty reporting heat. Pregnancy, cancer, diabetes, and other medical concerns require appropriate clinical guidance.
Cold may be inappropriate for clients with cold sensitivity, Raynaud’s, significant circulatory concerns, reduced sensation, or acute skin issues that may worsen with cold.
Ask during intake:
“Any circulation, sensation, inflammatory, or medical concerns?”
“Any recent injury, infection, procedure, or medication changes?”
When in doubt, skip thermal work and refer the client to their healthcare provider. This is NOT your hot stone massage; screening and informed consent come first.
What thermal contraindication questions are part of your intake process?
