Brick City is more than an event --
It's a tradition that brings people together.

This year's celebration at Curtis Park in Denver was filled with community pride, music, history, and giving back..

We had the opportunity to spend time with one of the founders Tony G. who's
Dedication has helped keep the Brick City tradition alive for more than three decades. From historic Brick City memorabillia to school - supply giveaways, every part of the event reflected a commitment to the
community.

It was also great to see such a strong community presence, creating a welcoming
family - friendly and safe atmosphere for everyone who attended.

With suport from the City and County of Denver and a strong public- safety presence, Brick City showed what can happen when a community comes
together to celebrate its history and invest in its future.

Sometimes neighborhoods only make the news for the wrong reasons. Events
like Brick City remind us there's another story to tell-- one of culture, history,
service, and people investing in each other.

Here's to 34 years of Brick City, and to many more.
