Living life to the absolute fullest
60 Acre Dream Property or Off-Grid Nightmare?
Writing this through soggy eyes. This is all I need. Coffee on the deck of the cabin. by my side. Mountains, trees, quiet, and a place that already feels home is as good as it gets for me. Kicker is by far the most meaningful. The thought Immediately brings me to tears. Kicker is getting older. I know he won’t be here forever. He’s been beside me through so many chapters of my life, just like Booter was before him. These dogs have given me more than I could ever put into words. The intense amount of love and joy is beyond measure. I’m trying to be present for this chapter. To not rush through the mornings like this. To appreciate the simple moments while I’m still in them. I’m so grateful for this life, for this place, and most of all for this dog. I hope I can continue to honor both Kicker and Booter by living fully, loving deeply, and giving Kicker the absolute best life I possibly can.

BIG NEWS!!! We bought a 60-acre off-grid property in Washington that has basically been abandoned for the last five years… and we may have gotten ourselves into something completely insane. 😂
The property is incredible and has more potential than anything I’ve ever taken on — but right now there’s no running water, no reliable power, broken systems everywhere, years of cleanup, and an overwhelming amount of work ahead of us.
I’ve decided this project deserves its own home, so we officially launched a brand-new MUSE Ranch YouTube channel where we’re going to document the entire journey of bringing this place back to life.
The first episode is LIVE now.
If you’ve followed my adventures over the years, I’d really appreciate you heading over, watching the first video, and subscribing to the new channel. It genuinely helps us get this thing off the ground.

60-acre dream property… or off-grid nightmare? We’re about to find out.
A little throwback to one very happy snow pup. ❄️🐾
was still so tiny here, but already completely obsessed with adventure. We kept this outing short and easy, carrying him most of the way and letting him enjoy just a couple little runs in the powder.
Snort or a growl. Trying to reposition on the paddleboard so we don’t both fall off. It’s not always a smooth at it looks on the gram. Anyone else’s golden retriever snort like a little piggy?
Does it get any better than sunrise snuggles with a dog?! is always the most loving in the mornings. Not complaining. Golden retrievers are the best!

Would you approach these ruff looking fellas holding down camp? - 📸: -
We could have been so famous. No one does it better than .
The wisdom of a dog is never lost on me. Watching stop, feel the breeze, and take it all in is a reminder to slow down and be present. That said, there are a few things I’ve learned from him that I probably shouldn’t try… again. Golden retrievers really do have life figured out. Well most of it. Share with a friend that could use this wisdom. .
Adventure fills the soul when it’s with a loved one. Sharing adventures like this with dog bring me more joy than anything else in my life. Can anyone else relate?
