Hi Everyone,

We have a crucial opportunity to advance cannabis delivery and special event access for social equity license holders in Denver, and we need your voice.

The bill would allow licensed social equity businesses to deliver cannabis to registered hotels and hold special events in partnership with hospitality businesses. This is a major step toward increasing access and creating equitable opportunities in our industry.

✅ Key highlights of the bill:

Allows cannabis delivery to registered hotels within Denver.

Establishes a hotel registry for approved delivery locations.

Permits special event licenses for social equity and hospitality license holders (up to 15 days/year).

Enables partnerships between retailers and qualified licensees to host special events.

Sets clear timelines for permit processing and fair limits on fines.

🗣️ How you can help: Please testify in person or virtually tomorrow. I anticipate public comment will take place between 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (we’re aiming for around 5:00 PM).

Even though cannabis delivery hasn’t fully taken off yet, this bill lays the groundwork for when it does—and it will. Having the right framework in place is key.
