Getting to know Jordin Sparks over the last few months and watching this song come together in the most unexpected way has been surreal!!

I had been working on the reimagined version of this song for a few months when I got the text that our managers had randomly met during music week. Not thinking much of it, I got a text a couple days later letting me know that Jordin listened to the song, cut it (sang it) and sent it back over within a couple of days.

Opening that file and hearing her voice on the track for the first time was a moment I’ll never forget. I was beyond excited that this was actually happening!!

She later told me that there had been a lot of people over the years who were interested in doing a remix/flip/remake of this song with her and this was the only one that felt right.

All that to say I am so honored that I get to do this with her. Truly..

THANK U ALL FOR THE MASSIVE LOVE AND SUPPORT YOU’VE GIVEN US ON THIS SONG SO FAR….
