You know those tasks that aren’t actually difficult… you just hate doing them? 😂

Mine is changing my guitar strings. 🎸

Are they dead? Yes.
Do I know they need to be changed? Absolutely.
Am I going to change them today? No. 😂

Instead, I’ll keep playing them until my fingers have the strings literally imprinted into them and this guitar sounds like it’s begging for intervention.

Sometimes procrastination isn’t about the size of the task. It’s just that certain tasks inexplicably suck.

So tell me: what’s the ridiculously simple task you avoid like it’s a full-time job? 😂

Strings officially imprinted into my fingertips, which probably means it’s time to change them… but I simply do not want to.

Changing guitar strings is one of those tiny tasks that, for absolutely no good reason, feels like a monumental inconvenience. So instead, I will continue playing these strings until they are completely, undeniably, offensively dead. And then I’ll probably play them a little longer.

We all have those tasks. They’re not even necessarily hard. They just suck, so we avoid them until avoiding them becomes significantly more ridiculous than just doing the thing.

Anyway… not today. 😂🎸

Turned my living room into a rehearsal space, amps, drums, guitars everywhere. Jammed with Tev-oh for a couple hours.

No calls to the cops. 😂 Since Linda moved out, the neighbors don’t mind.

Audio setup wasn’t great, but it worked.

I don’t stick to one genre. I like acoustic, rock, pop, jazz, and soul… I just like making what feels right.

Playing music is who I am. Sharing it is something I’m still working on.

No big expectations. If a few people connect with it, and it’s fun to make, that’s enough for me!
