Nervous System Notes
Nervous System Notes: psychology + spirituality for people taking charge of healing. Grounded, a little sweary, occasionally funny. Regulate first.
We talk regulation, attachment, shadow work, and higher-self energy without the cosplay. Transmute second. Nervous System Notes is where healing gets real, regulated, and occasionally sarcastic. This space blends trauma-informed psychology, nervous system regulation, and spiritual alchemy — aka turning emotional wreckage into self-trust, clarity, and quiet power. We talk attachment wounds, survival patterns, boundaries, grief, and growth… with science, soul, and a sense of humor sharp enough to survive it all. Your higher self isn’t floating above the chaos in white linen. She’s the version of you who learned how to breathe through triggers, stop self-abandoning, and say “absolutely the f**k not” with a regulated nervous system. No toxic positivity. No spiritual bypassing. Yes to nervous system repair, shadow work, dark humor, and calling things what they are. These are notes for people who’ve been through some sh*t — and are transmuting it into wisdom instead of pretending it didn’t hurt. Healing can be sacred and funny. Sometimes you laugh so you don’t dissociate. We support both.
The brain’s ability to focus and process information is impaired when stress responses never fully turn off.
I was in more pain than I knew how to handle, and sometimes I handled it badly.

You tried manipulating me while I tried healing you.
It still amazes me how we were fighting two completely different battles, yet standing in the same relationship.
You wanted power, control, and obedience while all I wanted was peace, understanding, and a chance to fix what was broken.
I kept pouring love into the wounds you kept pretending didn’t exist.
I offered patience where you offered mind games.
I tried to save you from your demons while you kept feeding mine.
It’s funny, is it not?
How two damaged souls can carry the same pain but express it so differently.
You weaponized your wounds and used them to hurt others.
Twisting truths, manipulating emotions, making people bleed and still calling it love.
And then there’s me;
The kind of broken that hurts inward,
The kind that apologizes just to stop an argument,
The kind that forgives too quickly, cries in silence, and destroys itself trying to keep others from falling apart.
Two people, both scarred yet one harms the world,
While the other sacrifices themselves just to protect it.
