He has been settling in quietly, resting up and taking things slow, and his early introductions to other dogs have gone smoothly and gently.

Four-year-old Ares is friendly through and through. He's the kind of companion who greets you with great hugs and generous kisses and asks for little more than to be near his people. Those who have spent time with him describe him simply as a perfect German Shepherd, and it is easy to see why.

If you know anything about Rose Nylund, you know she was the sweet one. The one who saw the best in everyone, loved with her whole heart, and could win you over without even trying. Well, this Rose is every bit her namesake.

Five-month-old Rose is one of four pups GSRA is calling the Golden Girls, and just like the show, these girls have personality to spare. When they first arrived at the shelter, Rose and her sisters were shy and reserved, unsure of the world around them. But foster care changed everything, and Rose did what Rose does best. She was just simply, genuinely good.

There is something about this girl that melts you. She is not flashy, she is not over the top, she is just pure sweetness through and through. Rose is the kind of dog who makes you slow down, sit on the floor, and just be. She does not need the spotlight, but she steals your heart the moment you meet her.

Rose and her Golden Girls sisters will be available for adoption soon. Stay tuned to learn more about each of these wonderful girls as they continue to shine in their foster homes.

Golden Girl Dorothy is available for adoption!

She is 5 months old and is a typical playful puppy. Her hobbies include playing ball with her siblings, playing bitey face with her siblings, and playing with toys with her siblings. If you couldn’t tell by her hobbies, this girl will need another pup in her forever home.

As she is still young herself, she also needs a home without young children under the age of 8. A fenced in back yard is also a must so she can play, hangout, and get her energy out through all of her hobbies mentioned above.
