🌿 A day of exploring at Martin Park Nature Center! 🦌🐢

Our interns had a great time getting outside and exploring nature at Martin Park Nature Center! Along the way, they spotted birds, turtles, and prairie dogs—and one group even got to see a young deer! 🐦🐢🦌

It was a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, explore our community, and see some Oklahoma wildlife up close! 🌳

A busy week at ETA! 🛒🍳🥞

Our interns put their skills to work this week! We started with a trip to Crest to grocery shop for everything we needed, then headed to the kitchen to prepare a full breakfast. To finish it off, we visited Special Services and hosted breakfast for their meeting! 💙

Interns helped prepare:
🍓 Vanilla Greek yogurt, mixed fruit & granola
🥚 Egg bites with hash browns, cheese and sausage
🥚 Egg bites with hash browns, cheese, spinach, & tomatoes
🫐 Blueberry mini muffins

From making a shopping list and finding items at the store to cooking, preparing, and serving the meal, our interns got to practice so many important real-world skills along the way. We are so proud of all their hard work and teamwork! 👏

Meet Gaby Schmidt, one of our amazing teachers at our Cheyenne location!🌟

Mrs. Schmidt loves smoothies, Coke zero, popcorn, and chocolate covered almonds! 🍿🥤 Her connection with ETA is special--she now gets to work with interns she first knew as eighth graders and continue to watch them grow into adulthood.🩵

We're so glad to have Gaby as part of the ETA team! 🫶

Our interns have been busy in the kitchen! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Between all of our sites, there’s been lots of cooking happening lately! Interns have made grilled cheese, chocolate chip cookies, homemade tortilla chips, rice krispie treats, apple cinnamon muffins, lemonade, and brownies! 🍪🍋🧁

We love seeing our interns learn new skills, work together, follow recipes, and of course enjoy what they make! We can’t wait to see what’s cooking next! 💙

🎉We loved having Project SEARCH visit our ETA Scissortail location last Friday!🩵

They got to check out our new building, enjoy lunch, play some board games, and have a dance party! 🎲🕺🎶

We had such a great time spending the afternoon together and making some fun memories. Thanks for coming to visit us, Project SEARCH! 🩵

We love seeing the great opportunities Project SEARCH provides for their interns! 👏 What a neat experience at Riversport adventures! 🌊
