This little black capped chickadee clearly has places to be
This is my smallest bird painting so far! I nearly had to break out a magnifying glass for this one.

I had so much fun painting this little guy! Busht*ts have a hilarious species name, but are adorable in person! These little birds that are just slightly larger than a golf ball and hang out in groups! They often end up in weird poses like this guy while they fly around catching tiny bugs. I like to think that this guy was just having fun twerking though.

Check out this silly guy along with some other new paintings in Edmonds at my booth at the 🐦Puget Sound Bird Fest 🐦 on June 6th! I'll have lots of prints, stickers, and magnets available!
This little pigeon probably found some food at the bottom of a hole, or maybe there's something more sinister down there. Either way, I like to think he's having a good time with whatever is happening.
If you can't make it to Puget Sound Bird Fest (which would be a bummer), checkout all the new paintings available on my website. Link in bio 🪿🐦🐤

Painted a somewhat gloomy PNW scene right as we make the transition to sunny spring! I've been enjoying taking walks in the rain and it was fun creating a painting with that vibe. Even though I love the sun, I'll miss the moodiness of pnw forests in the winter.
I decided to branch out a bit from birds with this painting, but don't worry! More birds are coming soon 🦅🐦🪿
Prints of this painting are available on my website! Link in bio.

The great thing about having an artist in your life is that you'll probably get art for Xmas. The bad thing is that your presents will probably be late (this is the only Xmas present I got done in time, and I finished it this morning 🫣)
This painting is of the larrabee State Park in Bellingham and a great blue heron!
Happy holidays everyone!

Fun fact! One of the easiest ways to tell that a bird is a raven rather than a crow is how scruffy they look. If it looks like they just rolled out of bed, they're probably a raven!
This little 4" by 6" painting took ages to get right. I spent hours just working on the eye 👀 This painting is finally done though, and prints will be available on my website this weekend! Link in bio

Sneak peek on a couple of new birds that I'm almost done painting! Any guesses on what bird species they are 👀
Both of these will be available as prints on my website soon, or you can find them this upcoming Sunday at my booth at the Boss Market in Tukwilla! Come join us at 300 Andover Park W, Tukwilla ,Was 98188 from 11:00-5:00

Created this guy over the weekend! Fun fact! Anna's hummingbirds are the only hummingbirds that spend the whole year in Washington state. They enter a state of torpor- kind of like hybernation- to survive through the cold months. Leaving out unfrozen nectar in hummingbird feeders increases the likelihood they'll survive the cold months too!
If you like my painting of this one enjoying flowers in warmer parts of the year, come see me at the harvest and handmade market this Saturday from 2-6 at the Tenor Winemaking Studio in Woodinville. I'll be selling prints of this little guy!
