The new walk-in freezer at the Mountain View School District Family Center Food Pantry is more than an addition to the facility, it means greater capacity to safely store fresh and frozen food and support families experiencing food insecurity.

Today, I had the pleasure of touring the Thrifty Ice Cream Factory and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible work happening right here in our community. 🍦🍨

A special thank you to Mr. Houlemard and the entire Thrifty leadership and operations team for welcoming us, sharing their time and expertise, and giving us an inside look at their operations.

It was especially meaningful to learn more about Thrifty’s history, its longstanding connection to our community, and the vision for its future.

As a Councilwoman, I believe in supporting our local businesses, listening to their needs, and working together to create opportunities for continued investment and growth in our city.

It was an honor to join the El Monte High School community to celebrate 125 years of history, tradition, and excellence.

El Monte High School is woven into the fabric of our community, and this milestone is a beautiful reminder of the generations of Lions who have created lasting memories, and gone on to make a difference in our city and beyond.

As a proud El Monte resident and Councilwoman, I’m grateful to be part of celebrating this incredible legacy and looking forward to all that the future holds for our students and our community.

Today, we celebrated our amazing young athletes at the Dodgers Dreamteam closing celebration! ⚾️💙

Congratulations to every player for a wonderful season! A special thank you to the coaches, volunteers, parents, families, city staff, and everyone who continues to invest in our children and help them dream big.

To our young athletes: keep working hard, supporting one another, believing in yourselves, and most importantly, keep dreaming! ⭐️

Last Thursday, our community came together to honor and remember six El Monte Police Department heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our city. 💙🖤

May we always remember the sacrifice they made and keep their families, loved ones, and the men and women of the El Monte Police Department in our thoughts and prayers.
