Friends, we’re very much in need of help! We urgently need donations to pay off our vet bills for various Bridge Pups at West Texas Cimarron Canyon. While we’ve pupdated on our Bridge Pups with the biggest vet bills such as cancer-survivor Nacho and Carmelita with various health issues, there is one pup patient at West Texas that we haven’t given a pupdate on lately which is sweet Perris, our Bridge Pup with perhaps one of the saddest backstories.
Perris made her way from Colombia (we initially thought Venezuela) with her family, one of which was only a little girl and her mother. In a heartbreaking tragedy, the little girl drowned in the Darien Gap. Perris and the mother made their way to our border, and Perris was with a wonderful foster until we could reunite her with her owner. They lived together until last year, when Perris’ owner was sadly deported back to Colombia, and could not take Perris with her. 💔Perris has been with since and has become a part of their family. But, Perris has had some health issues, mostly with her ears. She’s required vet visits, procedures and meds, but thankfully she’s living the best life possible. You can see all of Perris’ Stories in her Highlights.
❤️🩹❤️🐾
We currently can’t help anymore Bridge Pups like Perris until we can raise funds for vet bills. So here’s where we desperately need YOUR help! Can you contribute a few dollars to our vet account? Every little bit helps!

Friends, a loving foster or forever home is needed for this tiny black angel in the first pic. The second pic is his sibling whom I’m currently fostering.
Both of them appeared behind my mother’s house and with this terrible heat, they both need somewhere safe to get healthy and grow! We haven’t been able to catch the one in the first pic, but we’ll keep trying. Hopefully by then, I’ll have a foster option lined up. I’ll reach out to our amazing friends at El Paso County Animal Welfare for their gracious help us as usual with vaccines and neutering /spaying when they’re old enough.
🙏🏽🖤
Please let me know if you can take in this precious tiny black ball of love and sweetness!

Venezuelan pug pupdate!
Unfortunately, we haven’t gotten any further updates about her owner other than that she’s being held at Camp East Montana. And we still have yet to know the cutie pug’s name.
But, she has a new foster who has affectionately named her Paloma. Paloma is doing wonderfully with her fellow pug foster sibling! We could very much use some help to cover little Paloma’s care costs. Included in the Slides are pics of her food and recent vaccine costs which total to almost $200. Any little bit you can give to help us cover that would be PUGtastic and PAWsome!
Thank you to her foster Olga and thank you in advance for any donations to help. 💓🐾

Cutie boy Brío got neutered thanks to our wonderful friends at El Paso County Animal Welfare!!! He’s currently recovering and keeping busy with fun pup puzzles that his new mom got him. He’ll be starting formal doggy training very soon! Stay tuned for pupdates!
(Very, very heartfelt and special thanks to Crystal Reyes who is absolutely invaluable to our mission at Bridge Pups Rescue!)

Pupdate on the cutie I found a few weeks ago:
After exhausting every possibility of finding owners, he now has a wonderful new forever home!!! And the best part is, his new mom was my literature professor at UTEP ages ago when I was a student. (I am also faculty at UTEP which makes my gratitude to all my former professors like Dr. Meredith Abarca that helped make an impact on my career path all the more special!)
His new name is “Brío” which means “spirited energy, vigor, zest, etc.” which this little guy definitely exudes!
Wishing sweet Brío, his mom, and new grandma and grandpa many years of love and happiness!!!
Thank you Josie for fostering! And thank you El Paso County Animal Welfare for neutering him! 🙏🏽❤️

I made contact with the kind man who helped rescue the kitten trapped in the drain. His name is Ramon Abrego and he and his mother Grace Quauhtlatoa live together and are regular kitty fosters for .😸❤️
After speaking to both Ramon and his mother, they are comfortable sharing their information to help them with donations because they don’t have any apps such as CashApp, PayPal or Venmo.
They both asked for kitty litter, kitty formula, kibble, and canned food as their biggest needs. These can be dropped off at 3330 Jackson Ave 79930.
Or, Apple Pay donations are welcomed and can be sent to Ramons mother at 915-799-8469.
Thank you all for any help you can give these two kitty angels! 💗
