Lions Gate Portal-what’s next?

The upcoming weeks we will be focusing on revamping and organizing personal goals. This week in particular will have us chomping at the bit. Why you ask? Been awhile since I posted but this is giggle worthy.

Xander ((14)) has a friend over. They are in and out of the house ((typical)).

I offered hot pockets as a snack. Xander said his friend had NEVER had a hot pocket. I said oh you’re in for a treat. 😂
Wait what? 😳 A kid who’s never had a hot pocket? Say it ain’t so!! I’m feeling like a horrible mother. 😂

Congratulations to my daughter! First big girl purchase! So proud of you! ♥️ your momma!

I want to say thank you to so many who reached out to give my mom a big birthday and lifting me UP in the process. If you are close to me please bear with me. I know I share some of the same stories over and over again. But, my memories are all I have. I am grateful for all she shared. All she taught me.

Grief is a tricky thing. I don’t believe it gets better. We just cope as best as we can until we meet again. When it wasn’t cool to be pregnant at 15, she chose ME. I’m so blessed. She did so good by me, even though life wasn’t always easy.

Thank you for lifting ME up on her day. I can only hope I am half the woman/mother/companion and friend she was.
