The 2026 NWFA Expo in Orlando, FL, was a truly special event. I was deeply honored to be recognized with my fourth and fifth Floor Of The Year awards, specifically for Best Circular/Curved and Member's Choice. My appreciation goes to the NWFA for organizing another excellent convention. I extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who cast their vote for The Starfield Parquet, acknowledging it as the finest wood floor of 2025.

Starfield Parquet - Chapter 7: The Final Touch.
With the starfield complete, it all came down to the final detail.
The floor vent.
A custom 1/4" cast iron register was carefully integrated into the parquet, precisely routered into the floor so it sits perfectly flush with the surface. Not an addition, but a part of the design.
For the first time, the full Starfield Parquet could be seen as one complete work.
A universe, built one piece at a time. ✌️
