When it comes to sustainable transportation the goal isn't perfection — it's progress.
This week, challenge yourself to try just one trip differently. Ride transit instead of driving. Walk to lunch. Bike part of your commute. Share a ride with a coworker. Every switched trip counts.
Sometimes the hardest part is simply getting started. Once you try a new option, you may discover a commute that is less stressful, more affordable, or even more enjoyable than you expected.
Remember: Log at least 10 qualifying trips during October to be entered in the Switch Your Trips WA drawing!
Prizes include a $1,500 grand prize, a $500 prize, and more.

Pay with a single tap!
The ORCA Card can now be used on all Everett Paratransit vehicles, in addition to Everett Transit fixed route buses.
Do you need an ORCA card? Stop by the Everett Transit Customer Service Center at Everett Station to pick up a new Regional Reduced Fare Permit (RRFP) ORCA card. While RRFP ORCA cards won't provide discounted paratransit trips, they WILL allow customers to ride buses and light rail at a reduced fare.
Prefer paper tickets and passes? Customers who prefer paying with the existing payment methods don’t need to make any changes. Everett Paratransit tickets and monthly passes can still be purchased and will be accepted.

As part of our employee appreciation month, we also recognize long-time Everett Transit driver Jeff. He has been driving an Everett Transit bus for over 36 years!
Longevity is not Jeff's only notable accomplishment. Over three and a half decades, Jeff has navigated his bus without a preventable accident. Driving safely is a deliberate, day-by-day commitment to doing things the right way, and not letting anything affect that commitment. Kudos Jeff!

This September we celebrate Mr. Transit’s (aka Jan) 48th year behind the wheel of a City of Everett bus! What an impressive testament to public service and the enduring legacy and impact of a remarkable human being who still takes joy in making the ride happen for people all over our community – since Sept. 15, 1978!

Weather permitting, road striping work on Mukilteo Boulevard between Rucker Avenue and Dogwood Drive will impact Everett Transit's southbound Route 3 service the evenings of Sept. 14-16.
On these dates, Route 3 South will operate on a snow route (traveling on Evergreen Way and Pecks Drive instead of Mukilteo Boulevard, Dogwood Drive and Beverly Lane) beginning with the trip that departs Everett Station at 5:45 p.m.
Several stops will be missed along Dogwood Drive and Beverly Lane during the detour, and Everett Transit will collect passengers at shuttle stops during that time. The shuttle schedule will coincide with published Route 3 South schedules, and pick up customers at the following stops:
3080: Dogwood & Mukilteo
3340: Dogwood & 48th
3345: Dogwood & Alder
3365: Beverly & Sunset
3375: Beverly & Highland
The shuttle will transport passengers to Stop 3500 at Beverly and Rose, where they can catch Route 3 South. The shuttle will also transport customers from Stop 3500 to the listed shuttle stops.
Customers at stops 1545 (41st & Rucker) and 3030 (Mukilteo & 42nd) are directed to catch Route 3 South at Stop 3010 (Rucker & 41st) in front of Safeway. Customers at Stop 3045 (Mukilteo & Pigeon Creek) are directed to use the shuttle stop at Stop 3080 (Dogwood & Mukilteo).
