After 21 years, CrossFit Advantage will be closing its doors at the end of September.

That is an incredibly difficult sentence to write and it has been an incredibly difficult decision to make.

We started in 2005 as a small personal training studio with an idea that we could help people become better versions of themselves. In 2008, we became a CrossFit Affiliate and over the next 18 years, that little idea grew into something bigger than we ever could have imagined.

This gym has been such a huge part of my life. I have dedicated more than two decades to building it, growing it, coaching in it, and trying every day to make it a place where people felt cared for, challenged, supported, and part of something meaningful and positive.

And looking back, I’m incredibly proud of what we built together.

21 years training and coaching people in our community.
18 years as a CrossFit affiliate.
65,000+ classes and personal training sessions coached.
74 coaches developed.
11 gyms born from this community.
Dozens of competitions and events.
Multiple Proposals, Weddings, and Baby Showers hosted.
34 CrossFit Games, Regionals & Semifinals appearances.
22 national-level weightlifting appearances.
A housing crisis and recession survived.
A global pandemic and mandated closures survived.
A second gym purchased and grown into a thriving community of amazing people.
A gym sold to a hungry, skilled, and passionate new owner.
Thousands of PRs.
Countless friendships.
7 couples met here and got married, they had 7 kids between them.
And more lives changed than we could ever count.

But as proud as we are of those numbers, they aren’t what I’m going to miss the most.

I’m going to miss seeing you walk through the doors.

I’m going to miss everyone showing up for class together. The music. The chalk. The high fives. The celebrations. The hard days. The laughs. Watching someone do something for the first time that they weren’t sure they could do.

I’m going to miss us working hard, having fun, and getting fit AF together!

That’s what this place has always been about.

The “CrossFit Total” brought out the best in the Wolf Pack as we tested our Back Squat, Strict Press, and Deadlift 1 rep maxes.

Huge efforts, countless big lifts, 45 Personal Records, and a ton of exciting celebration moments.

A massive shout-out to everyone who showed up and got after it today and an extra spotlight on these athletes who managed to PR ALL THREE lifts in a single session.
