1. The date marks the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics for the blue LED, the piece that made white LED light possible.
2. Bridgelux founded the day in 2016.
3. LEDs use 75 to 80% less energy than incandescent bulbs.
4. SLP started in 1969 - when LEDs were tiny indicator lights.

We donated CircLED high bay lights to The National Museum of Transportation in St. Louis. Out with the old metal halide. In with CircLED.
