WELCOME TO AUTHOR’S ROW
A.M. DAVILA!

Please welcome Hudson Valley author A.M. Davila to Author’s Row at Hudson Valley Horror Fest 2026!

A transplant to the Hudson Valley from Long Island, Davila writes post-apocalyptic and dystopian fiction for both young adult and adult readers, creating worlds that are fantastical but frighteningly plausible. Her characters are inspired by real life and the people around us — making her stories of survival and societal collapse hit a little closer to home.

📖 She is the author of the A World Reforged series:

☠️ The Undoing
☠️ The Burying
☠️ The Willing

When she's not imagining the end of civilization, A.M. Davila is a New York high-school Social Studies teacher, wife and mom who enjoys reading, writing, traveling and the outdoors. She has also been active throughout the Hudson Valley literary and convention community with appearances at book festivals, comic cons and author signings.

🔥 Meet A.M. Davila, discover A World Reforged, and support a LOCAL Hudson Valley author at the show!

📚👻 WELCOME TO AUTHOR’S ROW — JACK PENDLETON! 👻📚

We’re excited to welcome New York author, artist and illustrator Jack Pendleton to Author’s Row at Hudson Valley Horror Fest 2026!

Jack is the creator of the Professor Spectre series of fast-paced supernatural thriller novels — stories filled with ghosts, vampires, shapeshifters, the undead, occult mysteries and things that definitely go bump in the night.

📖 THE PROFESSOR SPECTRE SERIES INCLUDES:

The Tragic Origin of Professor Spectre
The Angry Noise Within Professor Spectre
The Cradlesong Cult and Professor Spectre
The Grimoire Pages of Professor Spectre — an adult coloring book featuring characters, creatures, rituals and occult imagery from the series.

And Jack doesn't just write the stories — he creates the artwork too! A graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Illustration, Jack serves as the author, cover artist and illustrator behind Professor Spectre. When he's not creating supernatural worlds, he's an avid hiker and explorer of abandoned places, which sounds like pretty good research for a horror writer to us!

Jack resides in New York's Capital Region, making him another great New York creator joining this year's Author's Row. His books have also made appearances at horror conventions, including Scare-A-Con.

Come meet Jack, discover the world of Professor Spectre, pick up a book, check out his artwork and support independent horror creators!

CHRISTOPHER Di CESARE

Some people write about hauntings. Christopher Di Cesare lived through one.

We’re excited to welcome author, public speaker and extreme haunting survivor Christopher Di Cesare — “The Ghost Boy of Erie Hall” — to Hudson Valley Horror Fest 2026!

In 1985, while a student at SUNY Geneseo, Christopher found himself at the center of what became known as the C2D1 Haunting — an extraordinary paranormal case involving reported full-bodied apparitions, disembodied voices, moving objects, physical attacks, photographs, audio recordings and even a priest’s blessing.

The terrifying events surrounding Christopher eventually earned him the nicknames “The Ghost Boy of Geneseo” and “The Ghost Boy of Erie Hall.”

📺 His story has reached audiences around the world through:

👻 Syfy’s School Spirits: “Dorm Room Nightmare”
🎙️ Coast to Coast AM with George Noory
📺 Travel Channel’s My Horror Story
🔥 And the James Wan-produced Netflix docuseries True Haunting

Released in October 2025, True Haunting brought Christopher’s incredible story to a massive new audience, reaching millions of viewers during its first week.

📖 Christopher is also touring in support of his latest book, The Ghost Boy of Erie Hall, which takes readers deeper inside the events and experiences surrounding the now-famous haunting.

This is going to be a fascinating opportunity for paranormal fans to meet the man who actually lived the story, hear about his experiences firsthand and discover what happened inside Erie Hall more than four decades ago.
