🍎 CARAMEL PECAN APPLE BUTTER = QUICK DINNER WIN 🍎

Weeknight idea: Apple Butter Glazed Pork Chops (sweet, cozy, and a little fancy without the work).

Here’s the quick method:
1) Season pork chops with salt + pepper (and a pinch of smoked paprika if you like).
2) Sear in a hot skillet 3–4 min per side.
3) Lower heat and brush on 2–3 Tbsp Caramel Pecan Apple Butter + 1 Tbsp apple c***r (or water).
4) Let it bubble 1–2 min until glossy and sticky.

Serve with roasted sweet potatoes or a simple arugula salad.

From now through 10/31, you can mix + match a case of 12 jars for $95.00. ($25 savings) Then you’ll pick up your order on Sunday, Nov 1 | 12–5 at our Southern Preserved home storefront. (1540 Highland Way)

On pickup day, I’ll have samples of every single item out so you can taste what you’re getting (and if you’re still deciding, you can build your case after you sample). I’m also planning a little bread feature because fall + jars + bread is just the coziest combo.
One quick note: some flavors are limited quantity, so once something sells out, it’s gone until the next batch which for some flavors are next fall - so don’t wait until the last minute if you have favorites.

There are times when you realize you’ve pushed past your energy level and need to step back. We have decided not to do the event we were going to tomorrow. It just doesn’t make sense.

If you work at Lowe’s in BG, JR is loading the car and bringing you everything we baked.

We love how so many of the Lowe’s employees (JR’s former workplace and now our son’s workplace) continue to support our small business. We wanted to give back as a way to show our appreciation.

We will start back baking again for Jackson’s Orchard on Wednesday but we just needed to take the weekend off.
