🌴 A few things to know
Riu Latino is a great option if you want a mix of relaxation and activities. It has a livelier atmosphere than some of the more romantic, ultra-quiet adults-only resorts, so there’s plenty happening if you want to get out and enjoy yourself.

And because it’s located on the Mexican Caribbean, sargassum/seaweed can occur on the beach depending on conditions and season. Costa Mujeres can experience less seaweed than some other areas, but there’s never a guarantee.

One thing I always like to be upfront about when recommending this resort: the beach is not the main reason I would choose El Dorado Royale. The resort is right on the beach, but the ocean conditions can vary and sargassum can be an issue.

The good thing is that the Maroma Beach day is included in this package, so you get a chance to spend the day on a beautiful beach and enjoy swimming in the Caribbean. 🏖️🌊

For me, it's the food, pools, service, beautiful grounds and overall experience that keep bringing me back. I've stayed here three times and have loved my stays! ❤️
