Every wagging tail, every breakthrough, every victory—big or small—is possible because of YOU.
Thank you for trusting us with your fur babies. It is a privilege to be part of their journey and to watch them grow into happier, more confident companions. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the bond between dogs and their families grow stronger.
To all of our amazing clients and incredible pack members: thank you for believing in us, supporting our small business, and allowing us to do what we love every single day. We truly have the best pack around. ❤️🐾
With gratitude,
The SDH Training & Canine Services Family
✨ Celebrate Without the Boom! 🇺🇸🐾
We all love celebrating the Fourth of July, but remember—our dogs don’t understand that the loud explosions are part of the fun.
If you’re planning your celebration, consider choosing fountains and sparklers instead of loud aerial fireworks.
🎇 They create a beautiful display.
🔥 They have a lower fire risk when used responsibly.
🐶 They’re much quieter, making them less likely to frighten pets, wildlife, and even some neighbors.
A quieter celebration can make a world of difference for dogs who experience fear and anxiety during fireworks. While no firework is completely silent, choosing lower-noise options is one simple way to be a considerate pet owner and neighbor.
Let’s celebrate our independence while showing a little compassion for the four-legged family members who share our communities.
❤️ Your dog will thank you.
🐾🇺🇸✨
I may have to sing this to Loretta Lynn the next time she destroys one of our hats. That doggie loves to eat a hat… not shoes or towels… and lord her Drool messes… yup I need to sing this!
When training you start a command very close to the dog with a goal of increasing distance and duration. Here’s Bently at about 50 feet with a sit.. down and come in the comments…

Don’t you hate it when you smile so big your eyes go away??? 🥰🤪❤️❤️❤️
Apologies that we have not posted on Facebook. If you also follow us on IG you know our sweet Sturgill has been quite sick. I am hopeful that yesterday’s vet visit and treatment will finally heal his little body. In the meantime, get ready for the media dump on the pups John has been training lately!!

✨🐾 Welcome Ryder to the Pack! 🐾✨
This handsome GSD mix has some truly magical eyes — and an even sweeter personality to match. 💙🐶
Ryder joined the sit.down.HOUND crew to work on socialization, manners, and basic obedience so he can feel more confident and successful out in the world. We’re excited to help him build strong foundations while having plenty of fun along the way!
A huge thank you to for recommending us! If you’re looking for reliable dog walking or pet sitting, be sure to check them out. 🐾
