We are in Week 5 at the Cove! Summer is almost over, but we are still learning & having fun! 😊

This week is all about Artistic Adventures!! Each day the children will learn about & create with a different medium & also learn about 2 famous artists who are known for that medium.

Yesterday's theme was Painting & Emotions. The children painted how they feel using acrylic on canvas. In the afternoon they listened to classical music & painted how the music made them feel using watercolors. 🎨🖼

It was a lovely day full of beautiful masterpieces!! 😍 🤩

To wrap up Mad Scientist week, we have a special guest coming to the Cove!

Who do you think it may be??
Stay tuned.....😉

Happy Wednesday! 😊

It's your Summer @ the Cove mid-week update.

We are Mad Scientists this week! The children started off the week learning about the different types of science & scientists. Then we made water walk! 🌊

On Tuesday, we saw capillary action some more with our celery lab. Tuesday afternoon, we dissected owl pellets! 🦉 The children kept saying, "Yuck!," but they were so intrigued & really got into it. 😄

Today was all about Earth science. We started with a rain cloud in a jar demo. 🌧

What other exciting activities did we do today & have in store for the rest of the week? Stay tuned to find out.
